Bromsgrove School celebrate the redevelopment of their historic Routh Hall with the purchase of a new Bösendorfer 280 Vienna Concert Series concert grand piano from Coach House Pianos.
In articulating his pleasure and excitement at Bromsgrove School acquiring a new Bösendorfer 280 VC concert grand piano, Head Master Peter Clague described the piano as ‘the jewel in the crown’ of the recent redevelopment of the famous Routh Hall and new music department building at Bromsgrove. He concluded by saying the Bösendorfer is
‘a symbol of the esteem in which we hold music in the school’.
James McKelvey, the Director of Music, praised the assistance and level of service the school received from Coach House Pianos throughout the selection process for the new concert grand piano. He highlighted the wonderful flexibility of the Bösendorfer, as an instrument equally suited to solo and concerto performance, or the accompaniment of other instrumentalists and singers.
