Urdd Eisteddfod Festival will take place from 27 May – 1 June 2019 in the Millennium Centre, Cardiff.
Urdd Eisteddfod is an annual Welsh-language youth festival of literature, music & performing arts organised by Urdd Gobaith Cymru.
Eisteddfod 2017
Urdd Gobiath Cymru was established in the 1920s, with the aim of keeping the Welsh language alive in a world dominated by English speakers.
An appeal was made in 1922 to the children of Wales asking them to join a movement to protect the language and tradition of their native land. The response was so positive that the movement is still going strong today.
Urdd Eisteddfod is one of Europe’s largest youth touring festivals organised by the Urdd Gobiath Cymru movement.
Over the course of 1 week more than 15,000 children and young adults compete in different categories of performing arts, offering up a wide variety of entertainment for ticket holders.
Eisteddfod 2017
The family-friendly festival is held in a different location in Wales each year. This year it will be held in Cardiff Bay and Coach House Pianos will be exhibiting!
We have been involved with Eisteddfod since 2006, loaning pianos for all the concerts, events and competitions throughout the week and offering exclusive deals on pianos and accessories for everyone attending the festival.
Do drop by and say hello. We’ll be situated in the Main Entrance Foyer.
