Coach House Pianos helps Alton Towers WOW guests with a stunning Yamaha self-playing piano!
At the start of this year Alton Towers launched their latest venture – Stargazing Pods.
Over 100 pods made of natural materials sit on a landscaped green surrounded by nearly 900 newly planted trees, making this the ideal space to relax, switch off and enjoy more traditional past times.
There are on-site restaurants and all guests can join in the evening entertainment in the cosy tipi on site, which offers up food & drink, soft lighting, blankets and thanks to Coach House Pianos, now boasts a new Yamaha Self-playing piano.
Prior to their opening, Simon Allen, Creative Manager at Alton Towers, got in touch with Coach House after considering the type of entertainment they wanted to offer at the tipi.
“We were looking to get something extra special and really magical as entertainment for our guests this year, so we thought a self-playing piano was the right thing.”
After a visit to the Coach House showrooms in Swansea and a good chat about the different options, a Yamaha Disklavier Enspire piano was chosen
and thanks to this addition at the park, guests can now enjoy superb musical performances from artists using this amazing piano technology when they book an overnight or weekend stay at Alton Tower’s stargazing pods.
The cosy pods are the perfect accommodation for families wishing to extend their stay at the popular theme park. A package staying in one of these unique rooms includes take-away breakfast, early access to selected rides and attractions, a free 9-hole round of golf, a free 2nd day at the park and the evening entertainment.
Simon is thrilled that the evening entertainment in the package now features a new Yamaha Disklavier Self-playing piano and says that it has had very positive feedback since it was installed, from both guests and staff:
