Here at Coach House Pianos, we have been involved in an exciting venture with Taunton School in Somerset. Taunton have entered into a music education partnership with one of the leading music brands; Yamaha, which they believe will give their students access to some of the utmost quality instruments, enabling them to be able to experience a number of musical practices.
As one of the few select Premium Yamaha dealers, our close relationship with Yamaha and our extensive inventory of high-end pianos meant that we at Coach House were the perfect choice to fulfill Taunton's requirements in a more than adequate way. The collection of new pianos consisted of a mixture of nineteen upright and grand Yamaha pianos, plus a selection of Clavinova digital pianos as well. This has added to and enhanced the school's current piano fleet, re-emphasising the increasing importance that music 'plays' in a quality education today.
The Yamaha Partner in Music Education programme, which is designed to aid the teaching of music in schools and colleges across the UK, is a life changing experience for many institutions, with Taunton school being the most recent. Here at Coach House Pianos, we also have many links with the educational sector as the specialist suppliers over the past 30 years and have provided our assistance to many schools and colleges - ask one of our advisors about our unique education specific schemes.
We worked closely with the school to assess what types of piano would best suit certain rooms, taking into consideration things such as size and aesthetic appeal. In addition to this we also assisted with the removal of many of the old pianos and shipped them to our longstanding clients abroad where they are used for the furniture market.
